Root Reinforcement Effect on Cover Slopes of Solid Waste Landfill in Soil Bioengineering

This study investigated the effect of vegetation plant roots on stability cover slopes solid waste landfills. A large direct shear test and a root tensile strength were conducted to quantify rooted soil revegetation plants increment in as method protect slope In test, an increase ground with presence was observed, reinforcement proposed literature modified by analyzing correlation between diameter according water content. The landfill facility, considering revegetation, calculated conducting analysis reflecting unsaturated seepage rainfall conditions for various conditions, such gradient, degree compactness, thickness cover, depth facility.
